JAPANESE CLASS 1 ~ INTRODUCTION

ohayou gozaimasu = good morning (polite manner)
ohayou = morning (a little rude)
konnichiwa = good afternoon/ hi
note** konnichiwa is not said to people who you always see often or ur close friends..
konbanwa = good evening
oyasuminasai = good night
nihongo = (japanese) not refering to people
nihonjin = (japanese refering to people)
nihon = (JAPAN) country
o-namae wa nan desu ka = (what is ur name)
shorter pharse can be said as (namae wa)
nan sai desu ka = (how old are you)
shumi wa nan desu ka = (what is ur hobbies)
gomenasai = sorry
mooshiwake arimasen = im very sorry
gomen (shorter version for sorry like when u hurt someone by jokes or etc.)
here is how it to understand each other better , when u want to approach someone , want to get to know that person well and be friends
** konnichiwa , tomodachi ni nareru? watashi wa namae wa pikachu desu. 19 sai desu.. anata wa?
konnichiwa = hi, tomodachi ni nareru = can i be your friend? watashi namae wa haruka desu= my name is haruka, 19 sai desu= im 19 this year, anata wa= and you?
they will normally reply u as the following, ii desu, Mary(name) desu, 17 sai desu, dozo yoroshiku
ii desu = ok, my name is mary, im 17, nice to meet you
dozo yoroshiku / o ai deki ti ureshii desu = both is the same nice to meet you.
hai / un~ = yes
iie = no
arigatou = thanks
arigatou gozaimasu = thank you (polite)
daijoobu desu/ daijoobu dayone/ ki ni shinaide = never mind, no problem.
shusshin wa doko desu ka = where are you from.
doko ni sunderu no ? = where do you live?
singaporu ni san deru = i live in singapore
shingaporu = (singapore)
shingaporu-jin = (singaporean)
ikimashou = lets go.
