Do Singapore Chinese girls date/go out with Indian men?

I'll be moving to Singapore within 2 months for work. I'm originally from India (North India to be specific, I'm not Tamil). I've worked in many cities across the world and have dated women of different ethnicities but never dated East Asian women and have always thought they're gorgeous. So are Chinese girls in Singapore open to dating Indian men? Is it common to see Indian guy-Chinese girl couples in Singapore? Or are such couples extremely rare? If this matters, I'm 6 feet 1" in height, have a tanned, olive skin tone, thick black hair and brown eyes.
(I know the stereotype goes that Indians only date other Indians and to an extent, that's true for Indian women but Indian men outside India are open to dating other ethnicities.)

@jgho83 If people date doesn't mean they ALWAYS have to get married and have kids. In the West, people date those with common interests, if it works out they move in/get married or else they part for better or worse. I'm no "player" or "playboy"! And no, I'm not a "bootlicker" either (and if that's your criteria for "bootlicker", I bet many would be that!

If I am race-conscious, caste-conscious - to pretend that I wont be consious of another''s is lying to oneself. Only when I do see myself and expereince myself as a human being first and the other appendages( eg I am chinese, I am a professor, I am ... ) as mere utilities to be used and put aside - m i being human. One can reconcile to the the above and still relate or one can ignore and still relate -the difference is the first is qualitative and the second would seem like one is relating - but one is not, one would probably see another as a means to one's ends. Once the ends are met or fulfilled - the other is no longer of value. In other words, it is mutual benefit scheme. beware the traps of the EGO

Chinese women in Singapore? Arrogant, Overly-Ambitious, Money-Hungry..that's pretty much what i got to say..they think the whole world owes them a living..they make lousy wives and can't cook..still wanna date them?
The fact that you are North Indian is not gonna help either, to them you are INDIAN..period. Racial discrimination is also another problem, do you really think her family will accept you after all the negativity that exists against Indians? Moreover they tend to have a light skin fetish so your olive skin tone probably won't help..to them anything darker then a sun tan is dirty or unattractive.
Why don't you just settle for a nice Indian girl? Personally interracial relationships are tricky and won't work..at least in Singapore..
Take it from me, i'm a local Indian guy, if you still insist on going for a Chinese women, then try this: Simply flaunt your wealth at her..

Well said man. It's a different story if you're white though. I dont know if it is just me, but I get the impression that oriental women tend to go for white men. And vice versa. Some society we live in....

im tamil sporean, courting a chinese malaysian, I dont know if I love her or anything, but she cares for me without even realising la. I have known her since sec 1... full story 2 long. lol

local women date indians but its rare..they usually prefer white guys or local chinese guys..i think they are a bit resistant to marry malay guys also due to religion etc..

everybody loves white guys. They are much uncomplicated in day and in night. DOes that make me a racist, No. tried men from all ethnicities and found them pretty nice: not their skin colour but behaviour. Indians...well cant say. Indian men can be very nice to very bad. the range is very large. Nothing to do with their skin colour either. I love all shades of brown.

I think it’s getting more common in Singapore seeing a Chinese girl with an Indian guy. In general, you see more inter-racial couples on the streets these days.
Sure the most common mix would be Chinese/Caucasian but I think that is largely due to the “white is better” mentality most Singaporeans still have.
I would think it depends on how well you hit it off. My husband is local Indian and his cousins are all married to a Chinese too.
My colleague is of Indian Chinese heritage and I have a cousin dating an Indian guy and friends who married an Indian too. It is really much more common than you think. I think.
However, I must stress the Indians involved are all local Indians so there is some form of common ground.

It's hard but possible if you're a local Indian. If you're a "new" Indian, it's impossible.
More to the point, Chinese girls aren't even very nice to Chinese guys, they expect to be princesses and will leave if they're not happy. Relatively few will consider Indian guys, and even fewer will consider Indian guys from India. Someone up there said Chinese girls are full of material expectations- it's true. To find one who goes out with you for who you are and not for your wealth, is even tougher.
