looking for women who choose to be single

Hello to YOU who is reading this =) I am a final year undergrad from NTU studying sociology and my FYP is on singles in singapore. As my fyp prof set requirements for me to be very specific in my line of research, I have chosen to focus specifically on people who CHOOSE not to get married. I am looking for women in particular, who have made the choice not to get married, and are contented with singlehood.These women may be people who choose to co-habitat, are lesbians, remaining single for religious reasons etc...It is really worth finding out how you women have such determination to make such a decision! =)
Is there anyone who doesnt mind me interviewing them? It can be done via e-mail or face to face..and confidentiality is promised!

do include the impact of women charter (Sg style) on rising singles and divorces ... if your study sticks on to the women side...your results would only be half complete...and if you have already formed conclusions to uphold women charter...your research is biased towards that outcome...thus, your FYP is only for passing that degree...and not authentically making a contribution via fresh and original persepctive

i can't help you further....but there r many real life cases and views you can read either on news, articles, journals...perhaps...
most importantly, your conclusion should be balanced...a merger of the interests of both gender (but not skewed specifically towards women just because of women charter and because the law said so or the world's sympathies)....times have changed with great strides in women's equality) as a foundation towards resolving the rising singles and divorces as one of the key solution...
your generation of women is the only hope to help adjust that traditional view of women charter which is already out of tune and to the social disadvantage of men...or your sons of the future...
From the above, your FYP would be unique...as compared to other feminist writers

every action causes a reaction...as u are well aware of that universal law....the cause of women charter has affected men in many ways...and mostly psychological...which causes more reaction for men such as identity issue etc. ...arising with greater conflicts...and this also coincides with greater rise in gays and lesbians (some are biological...some transformed into it)...
the rise of women charter has changed men's views...for better or worse....looking back to the history, men started to fight it out for women as those times it was real bad for women...(along with my personal sympathy) ....but that was more than 100 years ago...and the first bill of rights for women was born out of UK parliament ...and spread to the rest of the world...the rest is history...
women charter does have certain social side effects...good at one end for the women....but resulted also adverse psychological conflict for men

Not my wife leh...me happily swinging from girl to girl...my best friend wife la...he so good to her for many years....no bad habits nothing....devoted his time and $$$ to the family.....end up she commit adultery still must pay her half his asset....so lame...all becoz of that gay woman charter....lololol

but could it be because she also pay for the house etc so when they divorce the judge spilt the asset equally? -
Nope....i know him quite well....when they are married...he paid for everyhing...he always ask him wife to save money for rainy days if something happens to him...he is the family man type....everything he do is for the family.....he would be wearing old clothes while buying new clothes for his wife....and wat happen in the end his wife still commit adultery and becoz of woman charter...he has to pay half his asset....LAME TOTALLY LAME....
Dumbest of all his wife is working and over the years of marriage has managed to accumulate a small fortune...while he having always use his salary for the family...is left with nothing.....stupid...lololol

did he try to employ a lawyer to help him fight the case and request not to gve half of his asssets?

Ya he did engage a lawyer to fight the case....but no use....even several witness were call into stand including me...judge also pity him and can tell he is a good famly man...but what happen...end of the day...they say still have to go by the book which in this case is woman charter....and the fact that he delay in submitting his divorce and waited for half a year for the PI adultery investigation to expired.....So he has little choice but to pay up.....I will never forget it....he put in so much time and effort for the family...end of the day betrayd by the one he love most and his life destroyed by the unfair woman charter.....woman charter was actually implemented in the 70s...time for amendment to it....

The law is the law mah....the majority of divorced women have to be protected. Only a handful are like your fren's case. Bad luck....

Why should majority of the divorced women be protected...this is total junk....how about the law change it from woman charter to man charter....i am sure you would see a lot of woman complainging about it....psl la...divorce divorce....be fair dun take one another asset....why would u divorce from a marriage still want to gain something out of it..tat is so lame...then might as well go ROM with a big $ note better....cheez

law should be flexible not dead..like the law says a person has to be given the death sentense if he commit murder..but if he got mental problem etc, the law can be more lenenient to him..
similarily, the law should should be flexible towards divorce too and not always protect women..

Bad luck lah....but other countries can sign pre-nup agreement. A lot of rich USA guys are doing it....Singapore can do it or not?

Should ask your friend to share his story with the opposition party and let the whole of sg know how PAP has screw up our country..
