I don't see the point in giving my namecard, cos obviously the girl would not call back, unless I handed it over from the cockpit of the red Lambo. It's just not in our culture I think.
So did you call the guy back? I don't think so eh?
That will depends on what your namecard writes. If it writes CEO or Director than the girl will definetly call you back

I did not call this stranger guy back. However, i did call a guy when he gave me his name card coz we already know each other. This somehow led us into relationship though it did not lead to marriage.
I could always make 1000 pieces of namecards with the 'CEO' printed on it anytime.
So from what I gather, our girls only
(1) respond to directors and CEO,
(2) respond to lambo and ferrari drivers,
(3) think a 'pick-up' only applies when a car is involved [again, re-emphasizing Point (2)]
(4) no fugly folks (unless you're a CEO or director)
(5) forget about MRT or bus commuting guys in this case
Dang. Doesn't bode too well for our girls (and thus guys), does it?
Where is the spirit of adventure? :)

See, Fantagf, you called the guy you already knew back, but not the total stranger who was trying to pick you up. So technically, that doesn't count at all.
And why didn't you call the guy from Dhoby Ghaut? Again, just not into pick-ups, are we? :)

Coincidentally, my friend knew the guy and was told this guy was kind of cranky. eeee, scary!
You gotta understand, the people in Asia are still the conservative. They are careful when they meet strangers.

Suddenly your friend happens to know this stranger too?
So obviously the answer to the question is "No, our girls aren't receptive at all"

It is not suddenly. They were in the same course.
Aiyo.... I think if the Pickup is too 'pickup'... the girls won't respond but if it is done casually with a good reason, i think most girls won't be too dao ^^
It depends on the size of his wallet.
