Some acquaintance (s) and I were talking about the constant increase in the costs of living here. They were suggesting we buy and rent property in Singapore and migrate to Malaysia. Use the rental for our expenses/retirement $$$$. This is a good idea, worth consideration.

yes, though not everything is cheap but many things are cheap there.
I paid 50% less for a pair of shoes at Tangs STudio in KL. The minimum MRT fare in KL is S$0.50.
