Here are my subject combinations:
English
A Math
E Math
Science (PHY/CHEM)
P.O.A.
Humanities (SS/HIS)
Not counted: Cl 'b'
Assuming that I get 6 A1s, do you think that there is a possibility that I can get into one of the JCs that I've metioned in the title of this topic?
PS: I'm not sure I can get my 2 CCA points.

I thought the education system has changed, there are students taking a direct route to these JC bypassing the 'O' level.
You cannot catch up with the direct entry student because their school work is already beyond A level in JC 1 already.
I suggests dont go to these JC and fight with them.

Hi Veit,
It is possible to get into these JCs, though you will have to get more than two bonus points for two of the JCs.
The cut-off points for the JCs are:
3 points for both Science Stream and Arts Stream of HCI (2008)
3 points for both Science Stream and Arts Stream of RJC (2008)
4 points for Science Stream and 5 points for Arts Stream of VJC (2009)
Cheers.

Hi Lokey,
I believe you are talking about the integrated programme introduced in 2004. It is available only in selected secondary schools, and the students bypass the "O"-levels to take their "A"-levels or IB Examination after 6 years.
Cheers.

Lets say that I get 6 points including CCA,HMT,etc. Is there a chance that I'll be able to get into one of these schools?

Hi Rooney,
The International Baccalaureate originates from Switzerland. It is recognised by many top universities worldwide, and also our local universities as well.
Cheers.

you MUST get 6A1s and your 2 cca points to get into these 3 jc.
and are you taking pure science subjects or combined science?
the requirement for JC science stream is that you must have A math, and 2 pure science subjects. else, your ONLY option is arts.
H2 math requires A math
H2 physic and chem both requires pure O levels phy/chem.
