Can i appeal to lower the amount for the littering fine?

I am a first time offender, today tio caught by plain clothes NEA officers for littering a ciggy butt. Is it possible to appeal for a lower amount to be fined? because $300 is alot to pay as i'm still full-time studying in tertiary instituition...

I was arrested for not paying 14 fines and a warrant of arrest was made against me. I got my summons reduced and do not need to go to prison. My advice, go down to Scotts ROad where the NEA office is, talk to them and you stand a good chance that your appeal will be reduced.
I am not pro government 100% but have to give credit where due. They will listen to u and assist if u are truly remorseful and cant afford.

Yes u can but I guess it will be more effective u go down personally. As u are a first offender and u are studying, ask for the fine to be waived and u stand a good chance. No venture no gain pal

If really cannot pay, then go down to them and ask if it's possible to covert it to CWO.
if you're young and sincere, maybe they'll allow it. Give it a try. -
