Caught by NEA ( i think) but escaped..

hi fellow smokers...
well this another case of caught by NEA... or not i duno... i was smoking at SIM near the overhead bridge staircase area.. which is very far from the bus stop (and also my regular spot) but was caught, NEA officers approached me as i light up and demand by IC.. 1st of all i do not know y a place so far away from the bus stop can be counted as a non smoking area and will be fined...
i delayed the time and say my IC was in my lecture room and they told me to wait, later they will walk with me to retrive my ic in class, i was not willing to pay for a fine which i dun even know is an offense... so i access them and concluded that they cant outrun me.. even if im in slippers.. i took the chance they wasn't looking and ran off..
as expected... i ran away.. but now im scared... anyone did such a thing like me? would they be able to regonise your face and put you in wanted list? will the same officers be stationed at SIM again in the next few days? of course guys you can blame me for running away and deserving to have my life lived in such agony.. but i just dun feel its ok to giv a fine for an offense that i dun even know is an offense...
guys you can blame me... but could any kind hearted smokers out there have any precious information to sooth my mind... at least a little... thanks in advance...

Whats done is done. These few days just to be safe, be more low key when going sim. Try to avoid the bus stop area these few days.

You know that you shouldn't have run, and you still ran.
You should take this as a sign to just stop smoking once and for all.

dun know its an offense?come on...that excuse has been used to death.
even if U really dunno...U know that U shouldnt be running from enforcement officers and U still ran.
U better hope those NEA guys dun get pissed off and really stake out SIM just for U.its not that difficult to infer that U are from SIM...U can run...but can U hide?

What about they go SIM the office and tell the office clerks one of the students here ran away from a fine then they look through the student database and identify your name and address? I'm not a kind hearted smoker therefore i'm a black hearted non smoker.

I think u felt the need to run away because, although they identified themselves as NEA officers, u didnt actually saw their ID card, and therefore, felt a sense of danger. Could they be conman? Would they take my IC and run? Are they robbers? So u quickly zao fast fast.

When you kena caught, just say you felt threatened and ran away.

aiya dont be scared la.. if i were you i also find the chance to run off.. tmd smlj also want to fine. more imptly if the spot u were at isnt right for them to fine you then of course run la..
dont worry, just keep a low profile the next few days. If they walk up to you just say they got the wrong person. What can they do to you sia.
