No, I didn't assume that you were a chain smoker. I just know that the earlier in life you start smoking, the higher the chance of you becoming a chain smoker eventually.
I also just made the observation that you're an underaged smoker. You deserve to have your ass whooped because you broke the law willingly and you're now crying mother crying father over the situation that you got yourself into.
Yeah, a $330 fine will not change a stupid smoker. But it may change a smart smoker who realizes that it is a really small price to pay compared to getting lung cancer later on in life.
And yeah, Singapore law is stupid in a way. As we have seen from your post, a $330 fine doesn't work on morons. If I had it my way, I'd have people like you caned and thrown into reform school since you're too dumb to learn from a small $330 fine.
You can just learn a lesson worth $330 now, or you can pay for the lesson in years to come. Your grandmother got lucky; my uncle didn't. It's your choice.

I got caught.
The NEA officer smile smile show me his badge, ask me whether i know what ive done wrong, which i asnwered smoking?, then he say "no also got something else, littering", then he take down all my particular tell me wait for letter than he fly away. He also never tell me anything else. So im quite confused as to what dumb ass letter ill recieve lol.

simple and quick. whatever has happened, you cant change it, what you can do is find out where you went wrong and make the necessary changes. i dont care if you are 13 or 17, you are still underage. why do you want to smoke? its like going up to someone and say, "torture me slowly till i die." so many people out there want to quit but can't but you on the other hand are doing otherwise. And ive skimmed through your replies and i notice you are scolding people for giving you advice, so what if they replied you with crap. this is a forum hence everyone has a right to post what they want. you are asking for advice, we are, at least i'm giving it to you. just remember this, and quit. if not, go on and die slowly, i know its hard. For others, i cannot speak on their behalf. And one thing seriously guys, smoking and death, youve got to stop correlating the two. Wow your a genius. I did not scold anybody but, did you not notice the but? If you need reference check dictionary.com my use of "but" was indicating as a reference he was being made an exemption, i think your really quite free. Sure you can say "except" was a better choice of words, but this isnt exactly the place to show off your level of english proficiency. And even if it was, i really dont think the phrase "i saw you scolded someone" is grammatically correct neither is it structured properly.

you sure the NEA guy who approached you isnt some psuedo prankster? Cause the scenario you describe... hmm.. quite unusual for a NEA officer. Fines are usually decided by the officer on the spot, no such thing as HQ for such a small case. (quite dodgy)
besides, im certain you're far aware of the consequences of smoking towards your health. Take this encounter as a slight hint or warning for an imminent predicament.

Not yet, im just gambling with my luck that the guy will be nice enough to let me off with just littering. And hopefully its just a warning letter, but ive approached the counsellors in my school, and well they are doing what they can. I mean, theres still a line they cant cross, cause basically the school doesnt allow some things, and theres only so much they can do lol.

honestly, school cant protect you much. Unless you have a record of good behavior, conduct, from teachers. The NEA will most likely (if they decide to charge you), talk to your teachers in school (eg, form teacher, eng teacher) maybe principal(if he knows you). Then the school will contact your parents. (if they decide to). im speaking from what i know.
NEA can most probably do anything, from dropping the charges to putting you up for CWO. NEA is part of the gov, and schooling, MOE, is also part of the gov. Age doesnt really matter, for there is a juvenile court in sg for underaged offenders.
just be prepared anyway. sg law is known for going down harsh on offenders. careful.

yeah thats what the guys back in school told me too. haha, but thanks. And its not CWO and the fine im scared of, like i said, its just that i dont want to disappoint my family. Nothing else in particular, im responsible for my own actions.

Notice to attend court for the offence of littering. The date is set by the court, not NEA thats why cannot give you the notice on the spot. The NEA officer should have explained that too to you. But letting you know the offence is sufficient.
Don't worry about smoking, lah.
You only cannot buy cigarettes, or liquor.
Except for your parent's and school principal's law, there is no statute law for under-aged consumption ... yet.

Honestly, smoking dun really cause cancer. Mostly the air that we inhale consist of carbon monoxide, foreign oxidents, pollens and blah blah blah.
Most of my relative, friends or colleagues, died of lung cancer. Out of 10 of them, only 2 were smokers. So therefore, how to explain of the rest getting lung cancer not smokers??? From 2nd hand smokers, some would say. "Not really" would be my reply, the answers is above(see also in 1st para). I am a 35yr old smoker myself and started since I was, like, 17yrs old. Had a buddy, same age and started smoking at 19, had smokers' cough. BTW, I am a heavy smoker at abt 20 cigs per day and also smoking Ang Hoon. My buddy is a light smoker with less than 10 cigs per day. As Xiaoming put it this way, when your time is up...means up. Sometimes, it depends on ur genectic structures of ur DNA. ANYWAY...back to the topic here.

Chinese stopped me, flash badge and ask for my IC. I told them I got no time and need to rush of to take the MRT(3mins to arrival) to work, but thats juz a BS to them to excuse myself. Abt to take out IC, my Boss call and tell them I need to take the call from my Boss. "But Sir, I still need ur IC", Chinese guy said. "Ya wait, I really need to take this call from my Boss and needed to rush off". And then I jabot thru the MRT gates and vanish from thier sight. Cool or not.
. i think they got a bit stun.So how ah? I heard that they got take picture if u siam them and will ambush u next time and tio double, ah? Hope not leh. Now I must siam that nearest MRT stn. Dang it NEA.

As for littering, who can avoid if they had impliment more Bins. Some places like the stretch Orchard Road. You can see alot of Bins. Other places, ha, not even one in sight. Maybe the Gov'y wanna save some cost, or the Bins keneh kooped by Karung Guni. Some littering cases, are genuine. example, some ppl cannot find Bins to throw their used tissues or sweet wrappers, put it inside their pockets. But, when they want to take something out, like coins, from their pockets, the litter from it fall out without them realising it, and tio fine. Explain or appeal also no use. NEA want ur money to pay for advertisements. I tot our country got alot of $$$$$$$$$$$. So where did it goes? Wanna save for war? For what??? WE ARE ONE PEOPLE!!! Human beings should not fight against one another.
