Kent-My brand during NS
Marlboro-Most of my adulthood
Dunhill-I notice this brand is favorite with the Indians
Gudang Garam-Favorite with the Malays
Consulate-Ah Longs and employees from Keong Saik Road
Hope-retirees and people from old folks home
Camel-not many people smoke this brand anymore
Japanese brands-People who are not hooked to cigarettes neither do they want to quit.

What is your opinion of Winston, Duty free cigarettes such as Davidoffs, and Viceroy brands?

Davidoffs & Viceroy =Either Ada Style +Ada money or Ada Style but tak ada money

camel: Cos only got non-filter. who wan die so fast
Dunhill&Consulate: Dont stereotype can. Last time i smoke consulate but you wont find me doing ahlong jobs or working at keong saik. Dunhill which is what i smoke now. *looks at arm* nope i'm not indian. Dunhill reds is nice, Fine cut is also damn good.
More and Salem havent try before so dont know.
Kent is nice but somehow i wont smoke it again, has something to do with me being caught by school with a pack of Kents.
Marlboro: Standard ciggy, those who dont really know what to smoke, like those 18 yrs old-so lets try smoking- kinds will buy marlboro and stick with it. Just so you know, sg only has the 'standard' marlboros. You see the other country. got wides, BLACK menthol, intense etc etc all those weird weird type
Gudang Garam: kreteks are common with the malays but i do see chinese and indians smoking them, rarely though.
Viceroy: Cheaper brand, usually smoked by those lians esp sml, always see lians with those. for times when i have no money
jap brands: I dont think theres really such a thing as one who isnt hooked and doesnt want to quit. those who think they arent hooked, probably have easy access to cigs and just havent gone for times without them. that said, japanese brands are nice, but i think we only have mild seven here? OMG when you go to japan you see all the cigs until can faint one
Anyway there's many brands i have heard of but never tried, like lucky strike, camel( those normal kinds, like reds,menthol etc),kool,certain marlboro varieties and alot of other brands
