Is it true that one puff of a ciggy would get you hooked?

The title. Just out of curiosity. In my opinion, I doubt it's true.
By the way, I'm a non-smoker and don't plan to smoke in the near future

The first puff won't cause you to get hooked, some will say it's disgusting, some will cough. It's the temption to try that second puff that will get you hooked.

i don't think the first puff gets you hooked.
it's the psychological need to put something in your mouth, blow smoke, which leads to the 2nd ciggy, and then 3rd siggy, then so on and so forth.

The 1st puff doesn't get you hooked to it, it is the human curiosity that gets you to keep trying, find out how to smoke(tarik).
