what is the reason u smoke?

hmm was wondering...
how do u all start ur smoking habit and is there any reason?
Sum examples l heard from frenz is becos due to stress and then tey pick up the habit, if not ..is under peer pressure or pick up juz for fun
as for me...l actually started when l am 17..tried it becos l was under stress for my o lvl examinations...went out and go to the mama shop nearby and buy Marlboro Methanol...l choose that brand cuz l heard a few guys tere...toking among themselves..methanol good to smoke..red no good..so l tk lo..try tk the 1st puff.. cough a few times..and l feel quite good..
after that...l nver smoke le..stop cuz exams oso over le
so went to poly..oso never smoke...until breakup with my gf le...was so depress and began to tk up the smoking habit back again...smoke smoke..actually did stop...but it was like stop for a while le..and l will go back to smoking again....
when l hav no ciggies for a 1 week..or several weeks... see ppl smoke..l feel very awkward...and sumtime..nver smoke for 1 week..will feel a bit amiss..altot not very amiss..but will feel the urge a bit..so eventually l will go and buy..
l hav start this bad habit for abt 1 yr le...on and off...wad abt u all? -
I smoked becoz I'm bored...
and it's a habit...
the news showed the electronic ciggies... maybe tat may help me...
but it must be easy to bring along wherever I go.... -

ya la..cuz smoke until habit le...actually l now smoke oso no reason liao...

most of my friends and people i go out with smokes, so if you don't smoke, it's like buay gum with them. somewhat socialising? haha.

Its ok to smoke.
But smoking through out the day, every single day, is ridiculous.
Smoke once a day. Max.
Smoke once in a while. Good.
Smoke on special occasions. Better.
Don't get hooked. Don't get addicted.
People who smoke the hooka. They smoke for pleasure, not because they are addicted.
I smoke, less than 10 cigarettes a year.
Strangely this year I have not smoked a single cigarette yet.
Enjoy that rare smoke. -
