  the title is man u's.

  all the challengers seem to be playing like shit this season taking turns to drop points.

  city board is really very patient.

  i maintain that mancini is not good enough for city and should be replaced.

  i wont be surprised they end up with no trophies this season.

  lets welcome jose mourinho.

  In the end, i couldn't ask for a better result... Pool couldn't get full points and still haven't beaten a team above them in the league... And City dropped 2 more points making it 9 now to United... 

  The Press is calling Aguero's goal as "Out of this world" and perhaps a strong contender for goal of the season... So far this, that Stoke goal and Bale's solo run stands out the most.

  MANCHESTER CITY boss Roberto Mancini accused Liverpool of breaking one of football’s unwritten rules.

  The Reds refused to kick the ball out while Edin Dzeko lay injured and former City man Daniel Sturridge smacked in the equaliser.

  The match ended 2-2, meaning the champions are now nine points adrift of leaders Manchester United, and Mancini was unhappy with Liverpool and ref Anthony Taylor.

  He said: “They should probably have stopped. Dzeko was on the floor, we didn’t know what had happened.

  “After this foul we had 15 seconds before the goal but this can happen.

  “For the first goal, I’m disappointed. If Vincent Kompany did that, it’d probably be a red card but the ref gave nothing.

  “The linesman for 10 minutes saw everything for Liverpool but he didn’t see this. Refs are making mistakes every game.”

  Sturridge says Reds had got the go-ahead from ref Taylor to continue playing despite Dzeko being down.

  The England forward did kick the ball out for a similar incident in the second half but insisted it was the right call for his goal.

  He said: “The ref said ‘Don’t kick the ball out’. Sometimes you do fair play for the opposition but don’t get the same back.”

  Sturridge is set to miss England’s friendly with Brazil on Wednesday after picking up a thigh injury.

  Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers said: “Daniel has a dead thigh. He’ll struggle for England.”

  Manchester United midfield ace Michael Carrick has already pulled out of the friendly after suffering a hip injury.
