  But since he was kicked by Chelsea star Eden Hazard during last night's nationally televised League Cup semi-final, the number of web users following him on Twitter has shot up to more than 90,000.

   

  And hundreds of football fans have taken to social media either to pay tribute to his 'time wasting' or to criticise his role in getting Hazard sent off in the dying minutes of the crunch cup tie.
