I don't really care what you think of my photos, they were all taken with the least amount of trouble and time with just a simple PnS... And again, I'm just stating that the pics are not good enough for me to determine how good the actual model is... not that the pics are "not good enough" as you so succiently put it...
If you really wanted to voice your own opinion, you wouldn't need to mention my own pictures in the first place.. You're the one who's feeling offended, not me.. I'm just giving my own frank and truthful opinion... if you can't handle that, then the onus is on you, not me...
In the first place, I have to say, no one has anything against you. But sometimes I feel that you need to change your attitude. Be more receptive, and cut that assumption that you know much about everything. And if you have nothing beneficial to say, please save the comments to yourself.
If you just could not take it anymore, as I already said earlier, no one forces you to stay in the forum. -
well...i guess the tension is somewhat still present...
whether a photo is good enuf is realli up to each individual...and the comment a person might have is largely dependant on him too...somewhat, ple do say things at times which they dun realli meant it that way, but its realli seems intruding for others to see it...
i feel mark's realli doin us a flavour by dropping us a post on the latest updates, and like what ypeich has suggested a new arrival thread would realli be good
maybe some might already have the latest info or pics or wat, but there'll always be ple like me who need it...and if the pics arent evident enuf to show all the small details, we'll juz have to wait for the real stuff's here...rite?
aniwae...its just a pic....and i guess all of us're looking at details...at different angles...if nt we'd have just got hooked onto some other hobbies instead...and perhaps our collections wld consist of maisto and bburagos? -

I've told you before, I am a VERY direct person... even after I told you that, you were still sarcastic... so who's the one who should be more receptive? You know how direct I can be and that its just me being honest... when I joke, I usually put a smiley face... and most of them have it...
So do you think you really are in a position to judge me? This is me being honest... and that is my honest opinion... I don't mean to offend anyone, but if me being honest has that effect, then so be it... at least I'm no pretentious... -

Well, i guess its my turn to end this thing.
i will keep it short and simple.
1st of all, i had not log in for 1 whole day due to preparing for my exam.
the main purpose of the forum is to promote our hobby and hope for constructive comments.
i dont have any idea as to y the new pic thread will link to removal of mod issue and flaming.
to clarify, i posted the pic when i got it online due to the fact tat i wanted to share with everybody. I was hoping for some discussion abt the model.
The misunderstanding thing started when chris posted comments such as "pictures not up to standard" This kind of sensative and provoke pple to attack.
Basically i feel that in this forum there is a freedom of speech, every1 can comment and every1 is entitle to his/her own opinions. But certain issue are not interpreted correctly by individually. some may not take it as a joke while some vent their anger posting in forum, while others take it as a pinch of salt.
To tell the truth, both parties has its own points and there are a few members in the forum whose have given their points.
In conclusion, i have to apologise if i have create misunderstanding or flaming due to my pics. I hope everybody can enjoy the models hobby and give constructive advises. Let all be abit more sensative to posts and some may even take it as a pinch of salt.
There is no pin pointing of who is right and who is wrong cos i dont wish to burn too much brain cell talking abt this issue. To add on, i sincerely thanks those who take time and effort in writting and replying this post
Can we let bygones be bygones and let enjoy collecting together.
Let us receive our year end model pic shoot with enthu and hopes for many good years of model collecting.

What started as just a running joke between me and eddy has escalated into this debacle just because you guys didn't take it like it was meant to be taken... a joke...
I didn't say his pics were lousy.. I just said the quality wasn't good enough to evaluate the model's build quality, the pic was on the small side, couldn't see enough details... Does that still sound offensive to you?
I might need to be more sensitive, but maybe you're too sensitive too? Taking offense when no offense was intended...
It's time to end this... I will still give my honest opinion, but I'll try to not be so direct so I won't offend others...

Although this issue ended, as a "long timer", I feel that LH83 was just being plain logical and straightforward. I would have never reacted in the way others did to his words. And I never found his posts offensive. Infact no one in this forum is offensive

I seriously doubt HW's Elite versions. Maybe their Super Elite versions are indeed worthy but I rather spend those kinda top bucks on getting BBR instead
My HotWheels collecting days have long ended. I desire much more details then what they can offer. -
