Replacement parts for your diecast

  Do model car companies like AutoArt, Kyosho provide replacement for missing or damaged parts?

  i don think theres any replacement parts like spare parts for our cars... but to wat i know, we can get the part from a model (wheels, spoiler) then 'assemble' it to the model we want... of coz, tat model's part tat we took will lose sth le...

  You can actually try emailing or calling them to ask.. sometimes they might still have some spare parts, depending on which part it is...

  actually they do provide certain parts. for example if a spoiler or windscreen wiper broke off they will send you a replacement one, but you have to fix it yourself.

  Yea, i got a pair of mirrors and a pair of 1/12 lambo emblems from them too.. free of charge..

  Contacted Autoart they do provide replacement parts depending whether they have the parts.Kyosho say they cannot arrange any replacement or spare parts for die-cast model.

  Actually kyosho does, but u have to pay for the parts
  There was once i requested a 1/12 ferrari emblem from them and they charged $10!

  I feel its still ok... $10 for an emblem so you can have a defect free model is worth it... Not as if its $50 for the small dinky thing... $10 inclusive of manufacturing, shipping costs and all that, is still ok... If one is willing to pay few hundred for a 1/12 model, whats an extra $10 anyway?

  Considering AUTOart gives those out for free and in a PAIR, kyosho pales in comparison..
  And nope, u have to go and collect it yourself, plus u cant guarantee a defect free model as u have to fix the badge urself, which may not be perfect..
  I dont know how it turned out, as i asked the logo on behalf of someone else.. not my model anymore..
  Anyway, i guess its up to the individual to feel if it is worth it or not..

  I meant shipping to Singapore, unless Kyosho itself manufactures them in Singapore...
  
  I'm still waiting for a replacement part from Autoart, and I was told I'd have to pay for it too..

  You have to contact toykar, the local distrubutor for kyosho..
  Can go to their website to obtain their email or phone number..
