Super GT Collection

After completing the 6 major JDM makers, my collection expands to the Japanese racing division. Super GT is the most well known Japanese car racing event featuring japcars with huge body kits and sexy Japanese babes!
Most JDM lovers will be crazy on the Super GT cars and babes, like me! 
Good news is that this event is held annually in Sepang, Malaysia. This year's Super GT has passed... Come over to Malaysia and enjoy urself next year... I wish to have a chance to check out this amazing racing event too!

so far i manage to collect 4 Super GT models
, will post one by one weekly... wish to get more like the Lexus SC430 and future expected to be released 2008 Super GT version of GTR Calsonic #12...

haha havent yet le... the SC430 is a soon to be released model by aa... they havent come out with an official diecast model yet... its now falling into my Super GT wishlist le... n this one is gonna be my favourite, hope can get it once aa releases it...

haha these are race cars le... i wonder ppl out there are willing to modify their SC430 into like tis onot oh? from wat i see, Lexus seem to target this model on luxury sports car segment, instead of performance segment... but i really cant wait to see the SUPER GT version of the coming new GTR...!!! should be drooling one!

my second Super GT model joins in - the 2003 Honda NSX Raybrig #100 note tat the best part of this car is the blue-ish look headlights... oso, no.100 oways represents this Raybrig NSX in the event...
to me, the face of this NSX looks like a python... -

yea... but wat if they get the championship for the current season, then next season will they get no.1 as the number? i found tat the 2003 Xanavi GTR #23 was the champion in tat season, and got no.1 for the next season in 2004 as Xanavi 350z... i wonder how will the number position is decided in JGTC...

that is correct... e.g Takagi's 38 Supra which became the champion of 2005 became a lexus (the 3 digit number evades me) of no.1 in 2006. but according to Raybrig #100... they should stick to their number since #100 is this number is their identity oredi ya? or i tot they are using number purchase since #100 is special... im curious if some other team may use #999? #888? or #69? hehe...!

not special..just that they always use it. They are allowed to use any number that is not currently used from 2-999. Got some one using 88 or 888 or 777.
2006 champion i think was one of the tom's car, so takagi etc revert back to their 38 this year.
I support 2 teams if there is such a thing.. Honda Arta NSX of 8 and Takagi's Zent 38. Went to Sepang in 2005 and got to take picture with honda's 2nd driver Ito's photo, they qualified pole that day but lost to the Nissan 22. Ralph Firman a bit hard to find lah..
If you got there... die die must get the pit pass..worth every penny if you are a true racing fan... either for the cars or the pit girls which ever your interest are.
too bad they don't show super gt on tv so have to resort to underground to get broadcasts. Quite interesting their races especially the crashes... quite expensive some of them like the ford gt or the new lambo getting written off. -
seems a nice experience u got there in sepang! too bad cant watch on tv... i do hope to watch this race in times to come...

sweetness! this is wat im looking for my next Super GT collection!!! the new GTR finally has its own Super GT version look, replacing the 350z starting from next season!!! yay... we can be able to see the return of GTR in Super GT races on the GT500 class... juz look at the GTR badge in front of the car tat makes Nissan stand out of the crowd! when will aa release this car???
i would love to have the Calsonic GTR #12 please...
