  ermm... plastics? cardboard??? to me i think is cardboard and do some great paintings... should need a very long time to complete the pitlane if ur really decide to do le..

  yup! I pre-ordered it at Grand Prix Legends. We pay only when they dispatch the models.
  and yeekin, u wanna buy all?

  hmm was thinking of all the lewis 1/18 minichamp stuff if they sell it at jacky's
  but if they deliver a good first win model then I could consider hotwheel's too. But seriously running out of space for storing the 1/18s. But still not as bad as sg's no.1 diecast guy (who has like a website detailing every model he has) or even that guy who is selling off his f1 collection on yahoo auctions.

  And is the diecast guy u said from www.allanmodel.com?
  And yes, I also saw the huge amount of F1 cars that guy is selling away together, but I know he does sells each one.

  i think that blog is a subset of the kimistuff forum so i guess the stuff is the same.
  
  yes that is the guy, quite famous too cos I remembered him featured in TNP.

  i think it is considered to be a good quality from maisto... detailed interior makes u feel like real leather look-alike and with a reasonable price... im oso surprised tat this model has a suspension system for the wheels...! to me this is one worthy buy for my f1 collection so far... only thing is tat the roof is not removable like the real SL55 eh...

  I think that the AutoArt F1 safety car is much more better.
  And the picture u showed is made by Minichamps - Lewis first test or first roll out with Mclaren in 2006, that's why in last year's livery. Dont even think about getting it in 1/43, it has been sold out. eBay is expensive! But Minichamps just announced the 1/18 one, u should try to pre order if u want.

  Its the weekend! And time for another year of schumi models. This is the last in the series unless somehow magically I complete the 2004 series.
  Anyway 2006 is a short time ago but seems long because of this season. Renault won the previous year and were hungry, Ferrari had their 248 car with schumi in Red 5, which started off not that well but won the race in imola but the gap was quite big compared to alonso. Monaco was famous for his parking incident in qualifying. The comeaback came from the USGP and schumi fought until they were even in china. He announced his retirement and many special edition models came out,even 2 each for 2 different races (monza and hockenheim) The title seemed to be lost when his engine blew up under the bridge at suzuka. And Brazil though was his last ever race which he did not finish on the podium, he did it in style.
  Starting on the 1/18 models, there is a whole lot of them to cover, some 80 over images to see. Starting off, it is not the pole position model which came out first but the special edition sold at the nurburgring where Schumi started 2nd and finished 1st! It is a premiere edition model so note the different wing/body work configurations as the year passes on.
