The race which sealed the championship for MS. USGP of 2003, note the tyre mark at the shell logo which did happen during the actual race where he touch tyres with DC. Quite exciting race which many did not expect him to win but did so after the changing conditions caught many out especially the drive thru for JPM after hitting and beaching RB. RB tried what MS did in a few races before at Nurburgring of asking the marshalls to rescue him but didn't work out.

Final race of the year. This is not the MS car since he did not finish on the podium but that of RB. Constructors cup is all about the 2 drivers hence both of them.

I call this the holy grail of the collection, more like 2nd place now but it is a very nice car. This years mclaren should look like this if I were to buy it from HW. The first car I know to exceed 3 digits (besides the minichamps then) but still look very impressive. This is the 6th WDC title car.

With this I'll move on to the 2005 collection next week. -

Either Minichamps or Mattel! I just pre-ordered Minichamps 1/18!
I think who wants to buy the first win should pre order now, cause the models are selling really fast and good. By the time, the Minichamps released the first win model in Q1 2008, it should be sold out already!!

Skipped 2004 for lack of 2 cars which shall not be named....
2005. Schumi had won the title for the past 5 years and the last year he would get no.1. Bridgestone had lost out in the tyre war against Michelin. Renaults were realiable and the Mclarens were fast. Schumi won a race which saw only 6 cars racing. Montoya won the remaining classics. Kimi had the move of the year passing fisi at Japan to win the race. And Alonso won his WDC at brazil and Renault got the constructors at shanghai.
Hot wheels did not introduce much Schumi specials due to the fact he didn't win any good races. So this week is 3 I'm showing. Hot wheels did however release 4 specials that year. Kimi and Webber's Race suit special. And Renaults WDC and Constructors Champion.
The first car is not the typical 2005 Schumi car. It is the premiere edition sold during the race at Hockenheim. Key difference is that of the front wing and compare this with the typical car.

Next is also another special edition at Nurburgring race. As this is a premiere edition, it has spots of F2004M.

There are a few unofficial specials during that year, the funniest being the 8th wdc with a chrome car and figure but the decals I saw were way wrong on that one. -
i can say tat ur f1 collection is one of a kind... especially this premier edition of f2005... i never see or hear it before! thanks for spending time posting shots here... i see lots of new bizarre models here!
