F1 diecast no news lately, so nothing to post..haha. -
been to sg last 2 week... was shocked to see so many alonso and schumacher limited edition on sale at jacky motorsports... nikko milenia walk and wheelock are oso my favourite place for diecast visit... got myself a jordan there...
so many models there! i failed to resist the temptation...

Anyway to continue... 1976 WDC...single winner James Hunt... which I have to say that he was lucky that Nikki Lauda crashed and burnt at Nurburgring and chickened out at Fuji Circuit when it was raining. Anyway the ferraris got the constructors that year.
The model is 1/18 scale minichamps of James Hunt's M23 car features removable front and engine cowlings to enable one to see the internal roll hoops and engine. As like the non ferrari racers of that era.... the engine to have was a cosworth V8. Cameo appearance by marlboro sponsored F1-2000 of Rubens for comparison between a 1970s F1 and the 21st Century Car.

the only indian ever in F1... but he would be back next year most likely once Force India gets up to speed.
Classical f1 cars yeah... expanding the collection to all WDC and special ones. 59 years of f1 (46 cars left to get..)
New f1 cars.. the launches to me were pretty boring nothing new in terms of sponsors etc.. the mp4-23 nose currently does not have that mini wing over.. the f2008 nose looks quite cool. Other than that didn't notice anything interesting... they will only bring it out at the first race in aust. -
gp3: yup... nth much special on the outlook of the cars in term of liveries and color... i expect new season would be a shadow of last year's "hot show"... good thing is tat new track like singapore is joining in for night race...
bout the f2008 i tot they will have this design instead of the current one...

This week's model was kinda promised sometime back. Anyway my first Exoto... the 1979 championship winning Ferrari. The last one before the long dought till a certain M Schumacher came along. This version has the famous V12 engines that Ferrari used till the mid 1990s. In addition there is no paintwork on this model as it is the 50 years in F1 commerative issue, so everything on the exterior is polished aluminium. The level of detail on this model is amazing even better than the minichamps. Since the USD is now very low compared to say the Singapore dollar, it is a good time to buy these models.

the ones which these chinese people put up are usually the ones which are "off the factory line", usually happens to mattel for some reason. Amalgam A1gp cars look cool, if they are handmade even better. Considering getting the malaysian car when they release the entire grid. every 2 weeks they will release. New Zealand, UK , france........
Singapore... no hope cos of certain money problems. Those on the inside would know.
