Okay, I couldn't stop in any store in Singapore, so I ordered a red 1:18 Kyosho Ferrari F40 from Motorsports Model in Meritus Mandarin. After the payment, Jacky said he'll ship the model out to me later (that was yesterday). I asked him to send me an email to notify me once he has sent the model out. I still haven't got a reply.

but u can start to panic when the model do not reach u in 3months

Model has been sent. I'm just waiting for another reply from him regarding which website do I visit to track my model, as he did give me a parcel number. I've been happy doing business with him, will definitely buy from him again. Now just need to hope the model will arrive safe!

Hrm... for normal overseas shipments, the tracking number he gave you could probably be used to check on www.singpost.com.sg, but once it is shipped out of Singapore, you'll have to use your own country's postal service website to check its progress...Originally posted by Jyi:Okayyy!!!!

Well... You might have to ask him which postal service he used, might not be singpost... Another reason could be like what you said, that the information hasn't been updated yet... It is a weekend now, and usually the post office only opens for a half day on saturday... Try emailing him to ask him about it...
Don't worry too much about it, I've seen jacky packing models to send out before... If he's said that he has, then he should have... Might have to wait till Mon to check the tracking number again... -

Not really 1st time la... Actually 2nd time.. 1st time was from South Korea through eBay.

Actually, this is what happened last year. I'm just a student..
My dad wanted to get this set of golf clubs on ebay (after my 1st car from overseas). We lost out on bidding, and someone emailed us saying it's the seller and offered us a '2nd chance offer'. Well, me being an idiot last time and didn't know how to think properly, I showed my dad the email. The scammer said the money was to be sent by wire transfer, after sending the money, we didn't get a reply after 2 weeks... It ended up being a fraud and nothing can be done... How much you ask? US$340...
Well, that's why I'm actually a bit confused now...
But with you guys giving me confidence with this purchase, I'm really just excited about receiving the model. I'll of course definitely buy again from Jacky. He's got some interesting models at reasonable prices. Hope my F40 is safe now and won't arrive damaged.. My Aston V8 Vantage's box (the 1st purchase online) took quite a beating from the Malaysian custons! *scared* -
You have to exercise due diligence and do your homework to avoid being scammed on Ebay. Take note of the feedbacks given to the seller. Where do those feedbacks come from? Then take a look at feedbacks given to those buyers. Make sure that those aren't just accounts being set up fraudently by the seller to generate his own feedbacks. Of course, the old adage always applies. If its too good to be true, then its probably is. As time goes by, you'll find out who can be trusted and who are those you should stay away from.

Never send payment by bank wire transfer. The ebay buyer's protection policy does not cover any losses if you trans by that method.
Paypal is the best for buyer. Convenient and save, but if you are a seller, u will learn to hate paypal. -

Just got a reply from Jacky. He said I'll have to go to the post office if I want to track it, I can't do it online. Well, I'll just wait for the model to come to me.
