Diecast model shops in Singapore

  Hello,
  
  I will be visiting Singapore for a SuperStar Virgo cruise on June 3rd. I would like to know diecast shops in Singapore. During my previous trip, I bought a car from Nikko in Harbor Front. Now that it's closed down, I'll have to find others. I hope you guys can list the shops down and tell me which is close to the Singapore Cruise Centre. I know F1 Motorsports is in Meritus Mandarin Gallery, but is it near Cruise Centre? Also, how far is Nikko Wheelock and Millenia Walk from Cruise Centre? Your help is appreciated. I'm coming from Malaysia btw. Also, might be visiting the shops on June 9th because June 3rd is a Sunday.

  Nikko Wheelock and Motorsports are on Orchard and within walking distance from each other.
  
  For Nikko Millenium, you'll have to take the train from Harbourfront(cruise centre) or Orchard(from the 2 stores) to Cityhall station and take a 20 mins walk vis Citilink to Millenium.
  
  You can take bus no. 65 from Harbourfront terminal to Orchard if you want to. That will take you straight to Orchard Road. Then from there, you can take bus no. 77 straight to Marina Centre and walk to Millenium. Save you some walking.

  You might want to tell us what you are looking at in particular. Maybe we can help you zoom in to the place to get them. Typically, the Nikko shops will carry the same variety of stuff so perhaps you don't have to go to both shops. I suggest you just visit the Millenium shop and give Wheelock a miss. Alex is knowledgable, friendly and not patronising.

  Ok, so I should go to Millenium. How about F1 Motorsports?
  I'm looking for the Kyosho F40, 575 GTC and maybe Hotwheels Elite. Also wanna look at other cars.

  Oh no, you are a bit too late. Motorsports has a few batches of Kyosho F40 and 575 last 2 weeks. All gone now. For the Elite models, only place to go to is Motorsports since they hold most of the stock Mattel brings in. Nikkon will have more variety in Autoart and Minichamps.

  Darn, I just sold off my last 575 GTC... Think Millenia Nikko still has the F40... you can check with them there... but 575 GTC is damn hard to get... there aren't anymore in SG for sale if I'm not wrong...

  anyone with lobang on how and when I can get a 575 GTC kindly PM me. Since I'm not in town most of the time, it's a bit difficult for me to keep track on the arrival dates

  I believe its only right to introduce urself at the newbie forum 1st before we provide u with any lobang. Most of us here have been very friendly with one another. Btw, we provide timely information by msn or msging. thanks.

  I think the only place you can find the 575 GTC for sale now is on ebay...

  Someone just sold away the Ferrari 575 on yahoo auction! Guess you were too late! Anyway there will be another Black, the yellow and the red version of the 575. But duno if it will reach our shore! Cheers!

  The other 3 575s are the 2004 edition. Some differences from the 2005 car.

  I think the cruise centre is nearer to Millenia than Orchard... but thats only by cab... If you take a train, travel time is more or less the same...
