Engine Transplantation

Jus thinking,
anyone ever tried " transplanting " engine or swappin engines
on model cars, be it 1:24, 1:18 or any scale, so to say?
Got tis inspiration from Tokyo Drift,
Han's S15 was fitted wif R34's RB26 engine,
later transplaned onto Ford Mustang GT chasis,
& also JUN AUTO's Supra fitted wif RB26DETT,
& another Supra fitted wif V12 engine.
Later develop into a subsidery a.k.a
"SGDC Motorsports" division

i think can , but will have to sacrifice 2 cars ,example: RX8 and skyline R32,
or any of the cars (2 or more) will be able to engine swap, but still this will take time and effort to really slowly transfer the "engine" parts to one car to another
so see if any nice guys here willing to sacrifice their cars if they are willing to do that and will be able to experiment it .
anyway your evo i will try my best to convert it to carbon fibers , but will take more time then larry's RX7 because yours will have more to paint and maybe with decals as well. -

Hmm.. i'm willin to test on my Motormax R34 & Bburago Diablo SV,
soon, when i hav e time. V12 in R34... cool.
I'll try, but if e dimensions can't fit into e R34,
i'll prob try other engines. -

the real carbon fiber texture are not as the "fa la li" (donno how to spell) the one that u guys bought de , the texture not correct one , real one should be a grey with black color , like a pattern . tat one just color spray on tat "fa la li" one la
any way for your information hor , hehe the matt type black is actually used for car parts to withstand high temperature one and also for mechanical parts... hehe -
Dont think can transplant engine for model cars ba, coz models have different engine and engine-bay sizes..
Model is not like real car, got fixed place to screw the engine to the chassis..
Real car can modify the engine bay to accomodate the real engine..

Carbon Fiber and Matt Black are two different things la. 575GTC isn't made of carbon fiber
Real carbon fiber has a weaving look, something like a mesh.
You can buy carbon fiber "stickers" over ebay to stick on anything u need

Good, we are getting fresh idea everyday....which mean the forum is growing.
