  No. Those are for Motogp races, and Formula One has got its own Safety Car.

  bmws are safe la... no idea on the NCAP though.
  
  but safety cars arent meant to be extremely safe. they just keep the races safe.

  Those safety cars are beauties! I have the M6 and am still searching for the M5. Saw at Nikko (WL) in Dec last year, but was not satisfied with those available there then. Where else to look for the M5? Can anyone suggest?

  M5 ah? U mean the safety car or the sedan? Me looking for the sedan high and low and cant seem to find it..
  But if you are talking abt the safety car, i imprezaWRXSTi22b has one for sale

  The QC for this batch of M5 is very bad. even mine has paint chip...
  i think there is one selling on yahoo auction going for $150 if i can recall

  yep... got it. thanks. S$150 for the M5 safety? i guess i will give it a miss. wait for toykar to bring in more next time... cos they selling at S$115 only. im still happy with having only the M6 safety for now.
  
  n indeed, the M5 sedan has been playing 'hide-n-seek' for a while. am still waiting for PML to inform me on the new stock but apparently... no news since sept last yr. sigh. having a 5 series is not enuff... i want M5 too!

  Little bit of advice dealing with pml, sometimes its best to make a trip down to check the stock out yourself. For example when i wanted to get the 7series individual last year, they didnt have stock and asked me to leave my contact details and that they'd call me. For a long time i didn't get any call so one day i decided to just go down and see for myself and they did have stock of the 7er. I think sometimes when stock takes a long time to come in they might just forget to call you so i suggest checking them out personally once in a while.

  thanks... no worries. i just called them up in the afternoon. no stock as yet.

  u r the customer... of course u get to choose n conduct ur very own stringent QC there.
