HeXy's Driving Test

Hmm as most of u prob will know, your beloved HeXy will be taking his TP next thursday.. Any tips to share share so i can pass first attempt and stop all the mockerism of mark-x link?

let me give u some advice...
first of all, let me start with some history abt my driving.
i got my licence on my first attempt at ssdc, first attemp also in NS class 4.
Drove in the terrain in thailand b4, rally driving.
1st rule to pass is to learn how to fail...as they all say the failure is the mother of passing.

1st thing i would like to ask u, are u confident?

Hmm..
unlike Eddy, i passed on 3rd attempt 1 1/2 yrs ago.
Now waiting to convert my Class 3 to drive military vehicles.
My tips for u:
- Sleep early night b4, cause if not, u wont b able to focus.
- Jus relax & be yourself. No point being tense-up & end up doing stupid mistakes & last minute corrections. Show e tester you're confident.
- Dont accl or brake suddenly (smooth accl/deaccl).
Circuit test:
- Dont panick with e upslope. Get to biting-point, & ram abit harder, let e car surge abit forward, b4 releasing handbrake. Then ram slightly more to pull-off e slope.
- Parking sections, it comes with practise.. nothin much i can help.. but jus make sure u REMEMBER to check blind-spots, jus "action action" abit lor.
Road test:
- Be alert of e cars in-front. Dont panic. Jus listen to e tester's directions.
- Singal early, & check blind spots & remember to off signal after lane changes,
which alot of ppl forget.
- For U-turns, b4 u stop, ensure u're not too close to e inner-kerb, which will allow u to hav a wider room to turn quickly.
- Focus further in-front e road & anticipate, instead of only focusing on e car infront. Experienced drivers will always focus far ahead & anticipate e rd condition.
Tat's as much as i'm able to help u frm my personal drivin experiences, pal.

ok, i give u 1 more important tip.
in order for u to relax, try to chat with the tester.
in this way, u can put urself at ease and at the same time relax the tester also(provided tat u r those type who can drive and chat)
2nd tip is to accknowledge what the tester say, dont be a dumb duck, make the tester feel like he talkin to a wall.
With so many tips, if u fail, u better dont show ur face at sgdiecast forum again!

giving advice or boasting?
I got my licence on my 1st attempt too
but hey, i got an international senior C class racing licence on my 1st application as a rookie and i went on to hold that licence for 3 years, all before i even started taking driving lessons.
Done long distance driving such as Glasgow to London, drove 10 hours almost non-stop. Drove London to Wales and back, including a stretch from Swansea to Swindon which the AA book estimated at about 4hours and 30 mins which i completed under 3.
Drove all over british B roads(such as those used in UK national level rallying) at night in winter, pitch black, at an average speed of 60mph(100km/h).
Drove a ferrari 550M on a circuit at 135mph(216km/h) while it was sleeting(slushy snow) on the track.
best of all, im a girl.

Thanks guys for ur advice and encouragement! yes im confident in driving all along during the driving lessons. but the it would be different story during driving test. i will never know if i will be nervous (most prob i will be) and do stupid mistakes man.. i will try to talk to the tester provided that he is the type who can talk one.. haha..
