Yep Lotus is owned by Proton. And you will be surprised to hear that Proton Saga has won more then 10 awards in various exhibitions all over the world. It was also labelled as "Best Purchase" by What Car of UK. It has won rallies in Thailand too and was imported to 31 different countries.. Owning shares in a company does not equate to Proton cars being Lotus cars. And I take stock only by top gear. The one proton i saw in UK, had just flipped n lost it roof and doors. If that car is UK's best buy of the year in any year, then they must have died out quickly Or maybe they only surveyed 1 buyer and he happened to have a proton

it just occured to me that, for an AA model, the bad fit of the front bumper and the mismatch of the wheel arch lines is quite... shocking.
