I am a Singapore Permanent resident.though my rep has expired in june this year.
I am not in Singapore from last 2 years.
I left Singapore, and have been working here as my parents wanted me to work. also, I had a 2 years bond with my company in India.
I would like to enquire about my chances of getting the PR status renewed, do i have to get a job again?
I am willing to take a job again in Singapore. I have worked for more than 3 years in Singapore.
Also, I would like to know,
1) if there is a police case on me in Singapore, does it hamper my chances of getting PR status?
2)Though, i am not sure, if the case is filed or not. and also, Does the case stop me from entering Singapore?
3)I have not committed any crime, just that,my ex boss had threatened to file a case against me, if i left my job, from his company.
4)I am afraid, since i came to India, without informing him, he might have done so.Some fake case of theft or something like that? But i cant know it, since I am not in Singapore.
And also if he did so, what are my chances to come back in Singapore and work? also will i be allowed to enter Singapore? or if i will be caught at the immigration?
Because, i do not know any of it. May be he has not filed a police complaint and i am unnecessarily getting scared. But my parents are not sure, because he did threaten me to do it.Does any body has info on this kind of case, suggestions are welcome..

Singapore no statute of limitation, that means, a case that is not closed, is open for forever. If the police have your name on their list, they will be waiting for you, until they get you or untill hell freezes over, which ever is earlier.

slim chance of coming back to spore to work.everything is on computer.they type your name in computer,look at your scanned photo and then say no.why?its like u goto a restaurant and u order a plate of curry.then after a few bites u leave the curry and start to walk out of restaurant.its ok for u but somehow the unfinished curry on the table in the restaurant would make the cook very angry.so a few years later ,u come back to the same restaurant and order the same plate of curry.do u think the restaurant would want to serve you ?its not like the restaurant boss is your best friend.
