how do u like it this year? holy crap....i was not even following it since we lost simon cowell but during the elimination of the 100 at hollywood week....i was blown away by the standards of this year's contestants!!!!!
they were VERY good. i tink the hardest year to judge. did u catch last nite's results? i didn't exactly agree with the wild card. for the top 10, i mostly agree.....that haley simi simi....i didn't tink she was that good so i agree with the top 9. but the wild card? i didn't tink ashton should have been chosen. what do you tink? i tot robbie did well.and oh....my golly....that steven tyler made my heart missed several beats.....
he is just soooooooooooo sexy!!!!!! love him!!!!!! i tink steven make this year's AI very watchable!!!!! and poor randy. he has taken over simon cowell's shoes. he is the most honest judge so far. j lo? i didn't know she is so beautiful until now. -

As for this year's talent, I like. Although I couldn't stand that little red headed boy, Brett simi simi. I wish I could sneak up on him and cut his hair off. hahahah! Imho, he didn't deserve to be in the top 24. Even that cowboy Scotty McCreery. Too one dimensional and he forgot the lyrics in the group round.
This year, I'm rooting for Casey Abrams. So talented that one! For the girls, my fave is Thia. That one has so much power and is so well behaved!

Re: Steven Tyler. Before he appeared on the show, I had a skewed image of him. From reading Rolling Stone and the like. He's quite funny, spontaneous and a good sport going by what I've seen so far.
What did you think of that karaoke host guy? He has talent but I think what he did during the group round sabotaged his image with viewers. Personally, that was it for me. I disliked him after that.

actually, i like the voice more than anything else. like aerosmith, nazareth, scorpions, the kpkb type.......'cos i sing that kind of songs too. kekekeke his history book is colourful (who am i to say what's good or bad eh?)
but his charisma shines during AI. the netizens are saying AI is still watchable because of steven tyler and i totally agree. i saw clips of his fenway park concert.....(true blue bostonian...he wore red sox jersey....hehehehe). i mean at 62??? he still has it......that clint guy? hey, he didn't get in top 13 mah. anyways, exactly.....was he the one who initiate kicking the cute justin b look-alike out? i tot was that jordan guy. did u read? he was "given" that song to sing to purposely make him look bad 'cos they didn't like him. anyways, i am not a fan of that clint guy.
kekeke....well, now that u know i like kpkb, u can understand why i like james durbin right? i don't know who to call 'cos the guys are mostly very good. i felt the boys are stronger than the girls this year. what say you? casey ah? hmm....i mean he can sing but tone wise......i really don't know. didn't tink it was that great.

honestly, i've only watched casey last week so my comment was based on that performance. 
i didn't write him off yet. like i said, at this point, it's really hard to call. the boys are really close. with the girls, while my fav is thia, she may not have the stage presence and that "idol" factor. she's kinda mild whereas that ashton gal is too over the top. you realize they compare lauren A with kelly clarkson and carrie underwood eh? she does have a cross of both and she is steven's favourite. 
hahaha....yah i know....that james guy gonna scream again although i hope not. honestly? he has that scream nia. tone wise, not that fantastic.
wah...saving your dollars for who? are you sure we up north can vote meh? this year they open online voting but even if i can vote hor? i eat not so free.

I thought Steven Tyler looked good in fuschia! Takes a strong man to wear that colour. And ruffles!I'm curious as to what McCreery will sing. For sure it'll sound like a country song. I always have to pause before I pronounce McCreery. If not I'll pronounce it as McCreepy.

That Adam ah... While he was on Idols, he acted so sebun, so humble. The minute Idols was over, piangz, I nearly couldn't recognize him because of the theatrical make up and over the top outfits.

Your James didn't scream too much tonight. Surprise, surprise. Not bad, I thought.
Thia got short changed by her reviews. She has such control and range, I just loved it.
Casey gave a good performance, what did you think of it?
Ashton was terrible, Neima and Karen too. I was wondering, if the judges were watching the same show. They gave good reviews!
Hayley's yodelling was interesting.
Jacob didn't transition well into the chorus.

it was a disappointing nite for me. i was not blown away by any performance at all.yeah....james didn't scream too much. there were some pitch problems but he sang the best last nite. yeah, surprisingly, he has a nice tone without screaming too. yup, thia got short changed but you know what? she has the voice but no presence. her first part was awesome but when the band came in, it was all so wrong. it sounded off-key. i suspect the contestants couldn't hear themselves (no ear piece) 'cos that lusk guy and that simi neima ah? both had the same problem too.
casey? he was alright for me. i mean he can sing but ....... i get the feeling he was trying to imitate joe cocker. he should just do his thing like our country scotty. ashton seems to have gotten the message since she didn't get voted in by the american public. she toned down a few notches. being overly confident is like being complacent.
i know. i was exclaiming "what are you judges listening?" i mean if they continue to be mr and miss nice guy/gal, the contestants ain't gonna improve and tinks too highly of themselves.....which is far from. but i believe steve got the the message. i went to kaypoh at the AI site and many netizens while love him said he was not judging at all. everything seems beautiful to his ears. so he did give some real critic last nite. in that arena, i miss simon cowell who tells it like it is.
when that haley was singing, i was thinking, simon will say "this is so old fashion". but at least we are hearing randy echoing "boring"....borrowed from simon's past years comment. but i must admit haley's performance while old fashion was interesting. it gave a different flavour. i must also admit that the rap by neima was not bad...for the umbrella song. but she sang badly. like i said, it's like she couldn't hear herself.
jacob aka lusk guy should have just kept it simple. he went over the top so when the chorus came in, he was so out of place. except for that one note....that high note, the whole performance was wasted.
hey, you didn't mention the paul guy. the chap who sounded like rod stewart. know what? he actually has a very nice sexy rasp voice but he also blew it in the second half of his song. and for goodness sake....stop trotting around the stage. wasted energy.
