Indeed, Happy Thanksgiving to the SgF folks in North America!
No special plans here. As usual, I'll be having Thanksgiving dinner with a good friend and his family on Thursday, then I'll sit back on Friday morning and laugh at the poor sods freezing their asses off since midnight in long lines outside major retailers waiting to catch the so-called "Black Friday" deals.

This year Thnksgiving and my Mother's birthday fall on the same day, plus we're exchanging Christmas gifts because my Sister can't be here at Xmas but she will be here for Thanksgiving, It's going to be a busy 4 days!
7 degrees and snow today. Just finished mowing to pick up pine needles a week ago then was caught off guard by the snow a couple days ago. Attached the snow blower to the John Deere yesterday.

walmart is having some special electronic sales.. anyone knows if its any good? the ad says nitendo ds lite for 89 bucks. i'm so tempted to get that..
Get it. You can always return it later. Just be prepared to do battle. Since Walmart is open all day Thanksgiving, there'll be more people to do battle with . Have fun!
Skid: what fun! Lots of people, lots of food... You make me wish we were spending tomorrow with family in Seattle.
Deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving, first time we had tried it. It turned out quite good. It was below freezing and snowing so we moved the cooking into the shop(detached garage). Nobody got burned and we didn't catch any structures on fire.
Turkey carcass got boiled down today for soup tomorrow...stuffing/mashed potatoes/gravy/fruit salad are gone...still some leftover pie, pumpkin, marionberry and some cheesecake.
there's one that got loose
