Electronic Exit Permit Inquiry

  Hi

  I have PR in the United States and got approved for an electronic Exit Permit from CMPB till next year (2011). Does anyone know if I need to furnish any physical document upon departing from the Singapore Changi Airport?

  No, everything is in the system. They just scan your passport, and everything pops up on their screen, tell them whether you are clear, hold on, or shoot on sight.

  never had any probs w my exit permit no documents but to be safe u might wanna check w mindef?

  Thank you vito_corleone. I just called MINDEF and they said one need not have to produce any physical document with a valid exit permit issued electronically. It's all good :)
