are aussie roads strange with signs that seem odd and out of place or disorganised???
and why do aussie driving instructors love telling sporeans since 1990s that they are driving a race car or something ???
is it alright if i drove off a bridge into a river with the driving instructor???

Driving in australia is actually easier than in Singapore. But remember, if you learn driving in Oz, they only teach you how to parallel park, and nothing else but parallel park, which is an extreme disadvantage in Singapore, because face it, how many places require you to parallel park in Singapore?
I learnt it the hard way.

dunno???i tried parallel parking and made a perfect one all the time first day......driving instructor said i need to pay for 100 hours at least as this town only has 4 fully booked out instructors...guess im stuck.....but i think i will take the practical until i pass but i need the instructors car as i dun think they provide any car at oz driving test centre.me thinks i should get license but i think i can budget it at $3k max for driving lessons.
although from the test sheets,i could pass most of the practical driving...the driving instructors insists i take at least 100hrs yup one hundred hours or no license as im above 30 years old i dun really need to accumluate any hours as per oz legal requirements.....me thinks i wont continue with her if it looks like theres no progress.

from looks of prACTICAL TEST SHEET,I ACTUALLY SHOULD ALREADY PASSED IT.....I SO FAR HAVE TAKEN 9 LESSONS WITH HER EACH BEING AN HOUR.

Hook turn is easy, just keep left when turning right

got my license..it was easy.i made 3 mistakes which is quite good considering the driving tester was one of the most serious in test centre.one mistake was i waited too long for vehicles to past by me and other was canceled signal after 7 secs exiting from roundabout...and forgot to put signal light one time on the first roundabout.
lane change,turn round etc was ok.Diving tester even remarked good manoeures on report.
got myself a holden sedan 1 week after gettin my license.
