  holy shit anyone else felt the quake last night/early morning? got up to get a drink of water and the house started wobbling so scary!

   I didn't feel a thing even though they say we felt tremors. It takes a big one for me to feel anything. I've gotten used to tremors after living in Japan for so long. Nothing small fazes me. lol

  We were shopping at Sears and felt it. This is the strongest one I've felt since moving here. The four of us ran out of the store. Many others did the same. According to our local news, this is the strongest one SD's ever experienced. Anyway, when we got home and inspected the house for any damage, the only casualty was a Lego avatar masterpiece. The thing was on the floor, all broken apart.

  You know, I've experienced lots of tremors, big and small, when I lived in Japan. Coming here, although I've read and heard about them in news reports,  I have never ever felt a single one, until today.

  Yup, it was a strong one. We were at the mall and right after we ran out of the building, the fire alarm was triggered.

  I think the only time when i let my mind go crazy, when I drove on one of those High flyover merging freeway......or on St Thomas Bridge.....never know if i would be that lucky.....

  when i was in inland empire San Andreas fault was a mountain away....and we even went up to wrigthwood took some pictures of the faultline....but all in all CA housings are prepared ....other than the extra drama media highlight....he he he.  

  so hope you enjoy the booty shake by mother nature.

  Coming up on two weeks in Japan, and no quakes yet. Only a couple of sightings of Godzilla tromping through the countryside.

  There have been at least 5 more since that big one. We just felt another one a few minutes ago....

  felt some minor ripples on sunday but friends in SF said they didnt feel it hmmm

  by now u should know that when you feel the shake its too late....

  folks in SF must be concern historically their infrastructure tend to suffer alot more.

  scientists have said that California is practically ''floating on water'' as there are extensive underwater tunnels and caverns stretching god-knows-how-far under the state................Navy nuclear submarines have gotten lost and were never found while investigating these caverns.........

  they also said the San Andreas Fault is actually a series of caverns and tunnels that have semi-collapsed and eventually California will slide into the sea..............no more Hollywood liao............

  also Japanese scientists also said only a matter of time before Tokyo and the surrounding area will sink beneath the waves...............remember that old drama serial ''Japan Sinking'' ?.........it's gonna happen.
