NEW ZEALAND INVITING SPOREANS TO IMMIGRATE!

Just heard from forum that new zealand government is inviting singaporeans into new zealand.
Specifically singaporeans only as from new zealand immigration minister!!
In the past, new zealand had invited 100,000 south koreans all at one shot from reliable new zealands sources!
What new zealand plan to achieve: to obtain an efficient and highly industrialised high technology new zealand in less than a generation as was done in singapore.this includes fields in microchip manufacturing,mass production,robotics,science and technology etc etc along with highly efficient admin structure as seen in spore presently and in the past.
What would happen if singaporeans do not contribute to nz developement: they would shut the door to sporeans as when the south koreans whom the nz government brough in had failed in their high technology industrialised and efficient objectives.
Do not go and setup a cyber cafe or provision shop and call it high tech....as in the case of most south koreans!

Singapore is a village and by moving to New Zealand we are going forward ? Guess some Singaporeans need to perform a reality check and figure why New Zealand is making this move. -

I like NZ for travel but not to work or stay there.
It is a lovely country especially the south. The scenery and weather there are so breathtaking, magnificent, great and good that one can temporarily forget about one's sickness and worries.

Stable, innovative , relaxed lifestyle, working hours are set, good benefits, good opportunities to go off to Aus, UK and US. I dont know. Those they believe they can make the better out of it will go, those that dont think so dont go lo. Its so simple.

Sorry to say that it is not true they are trying hard to retain Singaporeans. I believe it is part of their hidden agenda to get rid of the existing singaporeans by allowing so many foreigners to stay here, compete on jobs, every now and then don't feel like it then tell Singaporeans off, condemn Singaporeans, push blame on Singaporeans, treat foreigners better than locals.Just an update, LHL was in Vietnam last week, he met up with Singaporeans working there. In his speech, he expressed he was happy that Singaporeans are working in Vietnam (or overseas), this helps to contribute to economy. The next day when I went to search for this article on the net, I could not find. Believe they have removed it.

i think they don't mind people to work overseas but not migrate and changed passport.

In Singapore, we have a better taste of how we are treated. Impression they give is they dislike locals a lot. We are somehow abused by them. The way they treat us is as though we are good for nothing. They never stop putting us down and other craps.Singapore is better off without the ruling party.

NZL is a nice place to stay or even retire. Not sure how it is staying/working there as compared to sg. Confirmed there wont be a busy orchard shopping district.

well, we are losing our national identity.. slowly but surely, our PINK IC means nothing anymore, except to soon-RODing NSFs, LOL.
not sure whether with the disappearing of the ruiling party, can this global "epidemic" be stopped? SG has a sound/attractive infrastructure/environment that can't be ignored by these "educated" people.
Simiarly, soon, NZL will be "over-populated" and they will see these "migrants" getting top in schools, rushing for benefits, increasing housing prices, and soon, they will cry foul.
