I think for sauces as times goes by, the manufacturing has shifted to overseas due to cost issues back home.
I know that.....even Van Houten Chocolate Factory was shifted to Malaysia during the early 90s.

funny thing is, Van Houten's new packaging still indicates chocolates processed in Singapore

Really! This I got to get a block of Van Houten Chocolates to see!
tiger beer got many breweries worldwide.. for chinese sauces, singapore is quite an exporting hub for manufacturing it.. we got kikkkoman lim kum kee, chee seng and many others
the axe brand oil "feng you" also exported from singapore
name of Singapore would make it w/ better 'standing' ma
quite a few sg brands can be found in USA...like lee kum kee, prima taste, asian home gourmet....ya, axe brand oil too although i can't find it at my supermart *sob*
It all depends on where you live. Like in SFO, you can find sooooo many made in Sg condiments. My sis lives there. She tells me there is a Prima restaurant there too.
Where I live, there is a large Asian and East Asian population so it's easy to find made in Sg foodstuff. Whatever I can't find, there is always the internet. We have a Chinatown of sorts here so we have good food here too. From dim sum, to ramen shops to Indian restaurants...not too shabby.
these days spices you can get every where lah....

Tiger Beer...sign what a crap decision to let Budwiser as the sole distributors...
Tiger Beer USA does not taste the same as Tiger Beer Singapore....its Tigress Beer here. They changed the formula tone down taste like budwiser.
Also Tiger beer are not mend to drink from long nose. It is made to drink from Glass.
Unless you find the asian stores that still hold the old stock 2 liter bottle. That might still be original.
we have camel brand nuts and snacks, tao kae noi sea weed, yeos drink.
not singapore brand, and not food, but the dunhill ciggies here, some are made in singapore.
must look for the bakkwa now. haha.
