Poor thing. All that work and you're the only one who has to churn it out. When is the replacement getting there?
In other news, I got a new toy - the Bissell steam mop. Love it!

they transferred my call to someone that could 'help' me. but she is TOTALLY USELESS. I asked her what should i do, se say go to ica website and check, everything is listed. then i said ica website says i must make a police report and go down in person to ica within 14 days of it going missing. i told her it is ridiculous, cause how to get air ticket at this time, besides it will cost a bomb, and i have to attend school.. then she just keeps saying, sorry miss, we cant do anything here, you got to fly back to singapore within 14 days.
i got so pissed off, i told her i want to speak to her supervisor. Her supervisor said i can make police report here and wait till i go back home to make my ic.
sorry for the rant. SPOIL MY DAY SIAL.
dang sorry to hear that. and here we thought sg had the most efficient services. what a fallacy
hey...check with you folks hor? do you still keep your SG cellphone & phone service? i still have mine but i''ve been getting tonnes of unsolicited SMS-es which i'm paying $0.50ea. and every month...i still have to pay SGD50+ for my SG phone that i don't use apart from the stupid SMS-es.
i'm considering to give up my SG cellphone....but then how would i receive SMS from the banks for my online banking needs???
I would ditch the SG cellphone and find a way to get your msgs via email or in some other form. Talk to your Sg bank about some other way of sending you information?

i suspect there's no other way...'cos i asked them the last time..hence the reason why i didn't disconnect my SG cellphone and brought it with along me to the states =(
have any of you tried calling the SG banks from the states?? i called numerous times and there's the recorded messages asking me to punch some numbers regarding my enquiries....but when i tried punching the numbers using my cellphone....they don't get registered on the phone system.....arghhhhhhh! make me waste precious minutes!!!
and then i'd email the SG banks...and they'd ask me to call......
i've been going round and round in circles for the past days.....with IRS, DOR and SG banks.....sighhh....
anyway.....jetta, hope everything is good at your new work place!
we are getting 80F temperature over the weekend....yippeeee

I've been away for a very long time hence don't have the need to stay connected to Sg. You're going through the grey stage, kinda like in limbo, so... lots of headaches.
Thanks for the good wishes. The new work environment is much better. I do less work and get more pay, due to higher commission rates and lower customer volume.

Can't remember which game they're going to catch. KB leaves next month and we're trying to take him out to experience more quintessentially American events. Haven't seen him in a month or so. I'm wondering if he's put on lots of weight.
We haven't told him this but we are taking him to our daughter's school band fundraiser at Applebee's. More food!

Took him to one back in Feb, for the sumptuous buffet and some table time. He brought 3 friends along.
