  I am working in Suzhou, China. I am here since May 2005.

  It is ok, got to see snow over 2 of the winters I had so far. One of it even lasted > 1 week!

  Suzhou is much like shanghai, but more peaceful and not so hectic.

  Family wise, got married to a Yangzhou girl.

   

  Work wise.....Sad to say, better to hang on to the job. Lao liao, hard to find job back in Sg.

  how old are you? actually I've been trying to get a suitable in China, as got a GF back in Shanghai.

  I been only to 义乌，上海。深圳 and 广州 for short visit on work.

  Since you come China for short work trips, maybe you can request your company to post you here on long term basis, or set up some regional office in China?

  there is a silver chain factory in 深圳 but.... too many politics within the family members.
