For the past couple of years, my kids have tagged along but they don't have the endurance of a black belt shopper like moi. Haha! I'm tempted to leave them at Best Buy while I prowl the mall.
Before I worked at Sears, I assumed Black Friday prices were the best. I know better now. Save your receipts k? Whatever it is, you have to have a plan of attack. Comfy shoes are a must as well as having refreshments on hand.
Say do any of you have the Best Buy Premier card? They have an invite-only event the night before.
that's right it is part of a national sport Sunday spend the entired day walking in the Mall....ha ha ha....
anyway early bird sales are on....so check out...

However, the Panasonic's been spoken for: it's going to my good friend's daughter, as she got married a few weeks ago and cash is a bit tight for her and her hubby.

sorry mistaken to brookstone....
so i decided to check out the sales early this morning despite the wet weather...went to target, jcp, best buy, old navy, borders, LLBean...but nothing really exciting. did end up buying some stuffs that i don't need though...combi CD/MP3/radio player..clothes..flannel sheets..books. not as good bargains as i was expecting. was hoping to buy a digital cam...but didn't find anything good that's on offer. the malls here weren't as crowded as i thought it would be.
I headed over to Kohl's this morning, armed with a 15% "Black Friday" discount card that they had mass mailed the week prior, with the intent of getting a few pairs of jeans. I picked out a couple of Lee jeans which were priced at $29 apiece (before discount) and proceeded to the cash registers, only to notice that the checkout line snaked all the way to the back of the store.
Screw that. I wasn't about to waste nearly an hour waiting in line. I returned the jeans to the shelf and drove over to my favourite farming implement/hardware store, Mills Fleet Farm, to see if they had any good deals going. As I strolled through the clothing section, I noticed they had the same Lee jeans on sale for $13, so I bought them there, along with several hundred rounds of ammunition from their hunting department.
After that, I headed over to Best Buy and picked up a number of Blu-ray discs of older titles for $8 apiece.
