We generally don't complain until the temperature outside plummets below -10ºF.

U might want to talk to students in the UC to find out what kind of impact in terms of availabilities of courses...since I heard everyone they cut down on classes...Would there be impact on duration of your study? that was my thinking.You are right it is still 1.5 yrs away....but Uni need time to open up new classes.

Yes, coastal areas are warmer hence more expensive. I'm about 30 minutes from the Pacific and we're enjoying a warmer than usual November. Mornings are chilly with temps in the 50s. Come the afternoon, it's in the 70s.

yeah the lowerest recorded in my area is 34 F compared to your area. And we are not that far from each other....practically neighbors across the freeway...ha ha ha...
