got a call on wed that the doc summoned all my family members to the hos. i booked the next flight out same day. can u imagine leaving toronto on wed and only arriving in sg on friday? wah lau eh.....gruelling hours inflight leh. sit until ka chng tia also.
anyways, i have arrived in sg.....was shocked to see the crowds....and pretty hot, after enjoying fabulours fall weather conditions in the teens and now being greeted with the heat here.

i felt queasy after eating tho'. stomach too clean liao?
aiyoh, the effects of international dateline travel. i succumbed to jetlag at about 7ish pm. woke up at 10ish pm. went back to bed at 11ish pm, and now up at 4ish am. wanna go back to sleep but can't, so here i am....writing this.
so, what's next? what shall i conquer at the hawker centre? my fav local flare is char kway teow? where to eat?

Avoid the peranakan restaurant at Vivo City but do check out the Japanese store 'Daiso'. Its a $2/- shop and their stuff to fill lunch boxes is really good value and interesting.
And oh....get some sunlight on you or at least a foot massage to stabalise your body system.

there's this satay bee hoon at East Coast Park food centre and there are plenty of satay store there too. Have you eaten the char kway teow yet or the white banana leaf (o-pay leaf) sotong mee too?
how about lavender road wanton noodle or the kitchener road chinese kambing soup. What about race course road bak kut teh or the the muthu curry fishhead? There's this Thomson Rd prata store and the Hainan Street chicken rice too.

i did....we had that si mi gyoza ah? and the jiponese curry....really dark brown colour. i was hesitant initially but it was not bad i must say.

oh yah? okay, we are going to have seafood on sunday, i'll watch for it. no, not yet.
