  I've never really been a big fan of KFC's chicken. It's waaay too oily for my liking.

  The delis at the supermarkets in my neighbourhood serve much tastier fried chicken at lower prices.

  Albertson's fried chicken is really nice. Hope you have an Albertson's there. They have a Monday night special. For $7.99 you get 10 (I think)  pieces of chicken and fries. Not a bad deal.

  The last time KFC did this, they ran out of chicken before the end of the day.

  Nope, no Albertson's around here. The two largest supermarket chains in Minnesota are Cub Foods and Rainbow. In addition to the standard fried chicken, the delis in both also offer rotisserie chicken, which I tend to prefer.

  
  Wow, $7.99 for 10 pieces of chicken plus fries sounds like a whopper of a deal. With that, you could handily feed a family of three or even four!

  I thought the best deal was 8 pcs for $4.99 or $5.99
