Make that pictorial proof.

hahaha..sama sama. my hands hurt so badly...when i was bringing out the recycling trash! are you in boston?
Do the two of you use hand lotion? It helps to prevent the skin on the hands from drying to where it starts cracking and bleeding.

yah...can't do without it. 'cos i don't use the dishwasher...my hands are really dry from all the washing.
i tried quite a few moisturer from here but they don't seem to work very well....only my crabtree gardeners hand therapy cream (that i brought from singapore) seem to work.

I am using the one from Kiehl's and it works really well. Even though its for my hands, I use it for my face too.
I'm in Philadelphia.
kiehl is quite ex too...am hoping to find cheaper options similar to the crabtree/kiehl/loccitane.....

Why not use the dishwasher? It uses less water and energy and the water used is cycled throughout the wash cycle. (I used to sell appliances at Sears and dishwashers were my specialty.)
A good hand lotion that really works is Curel. Love it! Shea butter works nicely too. JMHO.

isit? i always thot the dishwasher uses more water?!! but 'cos it's only the 2 of us...usually it'd just be a few pieces of dishes for every meal....i'd have to wait many many days to fill up enough to run a washing cycle (& i would run out of dishes 'cos i only have 1 set). anyway...my landlord pays for the water....tee hee....i just thought i was helping her save $
where can i find this Curel brand? is it more affordable?

burt's bee hand milk bee wax thing is pretty good too. you only need a little and enough to moisturise.

The newer dishwashers are really efficient. Smart technology with sensors detect how much water to use for washing, rinsing, etc. If the one you have has a knob dial, then it's an older one, but it still uses less water than hand washing.
You can find Curel anywhere and it's cheap. (Light blue coloured tube with "Curel" in dark blue.) Shea butter does a good job too.

I feel for you guys in the north and east. Be careful especially when it all starts to melt. As for us in the west, we can't complain.

I just walked 20 blocks in the snow storm to get home. Had to trudge through a foot of snow half of the way home. Trust me, it wasn't that cold after a while... What a workout!
