I fortunately have a business trip back to SG next week. Going to spend 9 days in the region, with 2 days in Penang.
Looking forward to getting my fill of grub, and I've already ordered by Lana Cake!
Don't know where to go for good food in Penang though, since it's my firsrt time there. Any pointers?

I forgot to mention.
My 3 months period is gender and role specific.
Females tend to feel the temperatures a bit more, and they should lament about the lack of facilities earlier (From doctors, easy shopping, easy tah pao of food, public transport & entertainment), but if you took your vaccination before you flew, then that should not be that bad nowadays.
Males will enjoy the cooler weather better. The independance will lull the boys into the miss the Singapore easy to get food phase later.

Other than your not having a mortgage and associated costs, or kids to worry about, etc, etc. to quote Alfred E Neuman, what you worry? lol

It all depends. On what I don't know. But you'll know when that day comes. Could be when in the dead of winter, you start questioning why the heck you're freezing your butt off when you could be comfy in Sg, or when you have kids and worry about their personal safety, sexual predators, etc....

The Japanese food here is better than back home though.
