I will never ever again, drive all the way up to Seattle from San Diego. As if I didn't learn the first time around. Super damn long drive!!! It took us a day and a half to drive up. We had to break the trip and get a room to rest before we continued on. On the way back however, we did it in 21 hours with just short pit stops for food and the loo. Super exhausting!!! The most boring part of the drive was through the California central valley. Boring. Nothing but flat farm land on a four lane highway, straight as the arrow flies. Oregon is another story. Undulating curves but very pretty drive.
We were up there for about 10 days but I didn't even snap one single photo. Just too busy running around visiting family, catching up with old friends, shopping, a little sightseeing... The weather was cool. About 20 degrees cooler than SD weather but I managed. There may be a move in our near future, we shall see....
The highlight of my visit was meeting up with my old primary school classmate whom I last saw when I was 12. I love Facebook.
Did anything happen while I was away? Streamie? MG? Fatum?
Hi, welcome back.
Fatum had some sad news but I'll let him tell you about it.
You were only 5-6 hrs away, why not stop in to see me?
See, if you had taken the PCH on your drive through Kalifornika, it wouldn't have been that boring...
But you didn't really miss much here. Same old, same old.
the only reason why the drive was dry is because you were driving against Time....that is always painful. 21 hours so i gather is about 1500 miles on way?
Really? Nothing exciting happened? *sigh* Shows you how deprived I am here.
I have to rethink about never driving up again. When I got the dogs from the kennel yesterday, my heart about skipped several beats. The bloody bill was almost $600 clams!!!
So Arapahoe, you ready for the makan outing? Anytime before September because that's when the craft fair I take part in goes weekly. Fall is the busiest time for me because HS starts back up, there are more craft fairs, I have to spend more time on the machine creating... I'm tired already.
