Honestly i never drove a Mazada...I am done with Nissan. so have no idea about Mazada.... Where do you rate Mazada? or how do you Rank Mazada ? between a Honda and Toyota.
After I had test-driven all five vehicles, I felt the Mazda3 had the edge, especially for the price.
The problem with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla is that they both come with anemic 1.8 liter engines--to get the larger engines, you'd have to move into the higher trim levels which then push the price above US$20,000. Most of their lower trim lines also came with steel wheels (ugh!) and rear drum brakes (ugh!).
The '09 Sentra comes with a 2.0 liter engine. But, made in Mexico (ugh!).
The Impreza is a great car to drive, but its AWD extracts in penalty in fuel consumption, averaging only 22 mpg (ugh!).

I've owned only Nissans since my college days, but I've found they generally don't hold up well to the winter driving conditions here in the midwest.

"Liquid Silver Metallic."
I did test-drive an Impreza, but for some reason, the Subaru dealers here don't seem to want to dicker on the price, and the AWD system extracts a pretty hefty penalty on fuel consumption.

anyways...woohoo~~~ *high 5s* :)
Thanks! Actually, the Mazda3 will be pulling "summer car" duties and be garaged during winter. My previous summer car, an '02 Sentra Spec-V, will now be my year-round car.
Just the Impreza? The Forester and Outback are wonderful!
