Yes.....i stayed in New England once........snow like nobody business.

That might not be a bad idea! She could earn some extra cash in winter by running a snow removal business on the side.
(Except that, I highly doubt the 2.0 liter engine in the Mazda 5 has enough power to push the plow with a head of snow in front.)
While we're on the topic, we have decided to sell the Jeep. Made a silly decision to buy it and we believe it's cursed. Bloody dealership went belly up before they transferred the title over! We were sooo mad! In order to facilitate the transfer, I spent 3 hours at the bloody DMV and they told me I had to get a Vehicle Bond. Come to find out, not all insurance companies offer this and after 2 hours on the phone, I found one that did. Stupid piece of paper cost me $211!!!!! Even madder!!!!!
The good news is that I found a buyer who paid me the price I asked for.
In other news, we have found a replacement for the cursed Jeep. We swore that we would never own one again, now that the kids are teens, but we are now the somewhat embarassed owners of a minivan. Hahahah! We need the van to haul stuff to and from my craft shows. Since I'm always making new inventory, the Jeep just wasn't cutting it, space-wise. The Ford (our first Ford anything) fits the bill.

I did but I got the price I asked for, for the Jeep. Way more than $4500.
Spent 2 hours at the DMV yesterday getting the paperwork started. I'm so lucky that the buyer is so patient and didn't back out of the deal. So I am one happy camper! Bwahahahah!

Thought you were a Nissan man? What made you decide to defect?

Mexican quality, or the lack thereof. All of the previous and current generation Sentras are assembled south of the border.
The Mazda3s are 100% "Made in Japan."
Looks like someone is into all things Japanese now.

Actually, I was considering the Mazda3 since late last year, before my Japan trip. I had also looked at, and test driven, the Corolla, Sentra, Civic and Impreza, before settling on the Mazda3.
I test-drove the Mazda3 at a dealer nearby, but they wouldn't budge on the price. Another Mazda dealer some ways out of the Twin Cities responded to my RFQ through CarsDirect.com and offered to sell me one at my requested price and offer a decent trade-in value for my '95 Nissan junker. Plus, they had the car with the exact options and in the colour I wanted, sitting in their lot with less than 10 miles on it. I took half a day off from work last Friday and drove to the dealership in th afternoon to close the deal and take delivery of the vehicle.
Edited to add:

I bought a Nissan Versa couple of years ago. Had it for less than 4 months and just hated it. Sold it within a week of posting it on Craigslist. That was my first and last Nissan. I love Japanese cars but... check Nissan off my list. My fave? Subaru.
