Among other issues, living in CA is just too expensive. The high taxes and cost of car ownership, property, etc, is just wearing us out. The unrealistic budget cuts especially to education is another gripe we have. I know people love it here for the weather but I can take it or leave it. So.....we are contemplating a move back to Seattle. *nudge nudge MG*

Hahaha!!!
The family is eagerly awaiting our visit. We are going to set out the night of the 5th, hoping to get there within 24 hours. If we get too tired driving, we are going to break at my sis' place. But the plan is to get up there with no major stops.
MG, is there anything you'd like while I'm up there ?

Remember to pack lots of coffee and Barry Manilow CDs for the trip!
