Got plans? How's the weather treating you where you are?
We are planning to drive up to Seattle to see family. The thought of that l-o-n-g 19 hour drive makes me go *haiz*. Even with airfares supposedly lower, we'd have to rent a car for X days. While I enjoy summer and visiting friends and family, the thought of the trip just makes me think, think, think.

19 hours is a pretty long drive--I was going to suggest taking the PCH to relieve the monotony, but that would just make the trip take longer. Can you fly up and borrow a car from a relative instead of renting one?
The big summer event for me is, of course, the trip to Japan in July. That's all I've been thinking of lately and it's been hard getting any work done in the office. I wonder if I can just sleep through June and wake up the day before we leave for Japan....
it's hothothothothot HOT in singapore!
it's apparently really nice in TO...
it's june but we still need a jacket. i am not complaining 'cos i don't like the heat/sun. no solid plans....just toying with going to the niagara region.
enjoy seattle! ;-)

How are you enjoying your vacation there so far? Have you eaten everything in sight already? How's the shopping? Every year I tell myself that I should visit but a visit to Sg is a sure way to put a gaping hole in my bank account.
We are enjoying cool weather here. June gloom strikes again.
So when are you heading back to Torlongto?

Say, didn't you visit the Niagara region last year? Speaking of sun, have you seen Neutrogena's newest SPF100 sunscreen???? I want!
Enjoy Niagara!
Summer's here! Our annual county fair starts today. Each year they introduce something new by way of artery clogging fried foods. Last year I think they had deep fried twinkies and other nonsensical but don't-knock-it-til-you've-tried it-fare. This year we hear they're offering deep-fried smores. I wonder what that tastes like?
How's everyone enjoying summer so far? So far so good here. Althought Mother Nature is showering us with temperatures in excess of 90F. It's so hot you can feel it burn your skin. Even so, give me the heat anytime over the cold. I cannot stand winter, the cold, the snow, etc.
We have decided to take a drive up to Seattle to visit family and friends. MG, any chance of a meet up?
oh, we have no outing plans. but every weekend booked since may/09 for makan sessions! :( i feel sorry for my waist. lol

Man udon, that's a really long stay in Sg. Are you bored out of your gourd yet? :P
We have decided to make the drive up to Seattle next month to see family and possibly go look at homes. The hubster's going to show his face at the various bases up there to see about getting a lateral transfer. Wish us luck!

I got back from 3 weeiks in Montana this past Saturday....had a great time on the farm...I lived through: bullet holes through the truck mirror(don't ask), keys locked in the truck, gale force winds, hail storms, skunks, and manure.....can't wait til the next time.

Hahah! Sadly, this is damn near impossible because the base in Sg is very very small.

Fun? I'll let you know. We leave the 5th. Tourist attraction-wise, we are going to visit the Seattle Underground in downtown Seattle. I experienced this a loooong time ago and was fascinated. I hope my kids will be just as.
And on the way back, we will be stopping at the Oregon coast near Astoria which is where the Goonies was filmed. We spent a weekend there a looooooooong time ago too and loved it.
Summer semester's over! can't believed i survived a whole term of math after army brain suicide for 2 years, let the fun begin!!!

Spend money!!!! Arnold will thank you!
Finally up here. Took us a day and a half with a stop at Salem to rest and catch some zzzzs. While in Oregon we took advantage of the 0% sales tax and shopped for electronics at Best Buy - on purpose. hahaha
Weather here is cold - for me at least. It's at least 20 degrees colder. Brrr!
