Anyone studying in Amsterdam?

Hello, I would like to ask if there's anyone currently studying in Amsterdam and where? I'm starting school in Gerrit Rietveld Academie in August and I'll be there alone. Is there anything I should look out for and any recommendations where should I look for places to rent since my school dont provide accomodations....Bedankt!

btw remember to try their mushrooms there. I remember a shop even sold a recipe book on how to cook mushrooms

haha, everyone recommend magic mushroom. Of course that one is a must and the red light district, I went to see already that time I was there. Just really nervous about living there actually and studying there, especially about finding a place to stay. My previous trip there, I realise the Dutch aren't really the most welcoming, despite being known for being "tolerant"... Singaporeans living there how you all cope with it?

knew an ex-malaysian who's a PR in canada and later on followed hubster to holland cos of hubster's work .....
she hated it every single day there ..... complained of very bad racism there from the ang mohs ....

do you have any specific queries? ie where's this place or that? or how to get this etc? buzz me...i can ask my BIL for you. he's dutch and his dad teaches at the medical faculty in one of the unis.
