Question on migrating to australia ?

  Hi,

  I am planning to migrate to australia.

  I have a minor criminal record. 2 years back I was convicted for shopliting and paid 1500$ fine.
  Other than this my record is clean.

  will this conviction effect affect me in migrating  to australia?

   

  Has any one from singapore  migrated to australia with criminal record?

  Suggest you consult an Australian migration agent. He will be in a better position to advise you of your chances.

  Hi Dunhill,  i've read your post and i am quite interested in your situation.

  so what does your CNCC tell you and did u manage to get Australian PR afterall?

  i am thinking of migrating to Australia in the near future and i do have a slight infraction with the law many years ago, but it was nothing serious.

  i would love to hear your replies.

  THEY DUN MIND SMALL MINOR OFFENCES....SOME APPLICANTS EVEN LEFT SPORE IN PAST 10 YEARS AGO  WITHOUT GOIN TO CRIMINAL BRANCH FOR CNC CERT AND STIL THEY GOT PR AND GOT MARRIED OVERSEAS.

  Hi Terminator,

  So you're saying it's possible to migrate to Australia without getting a police clearance from Singapore?

  I thought you need to pass the character test? and one of the requirements is that you need to obtain police clearance from any country in which you have lived for a year or more.

  u need special clearance from oz immigration ...even a lil gal can speak to pm of oz if she dun like him. they are hands on for pm poiticians............best u go get everything including the minor offence written or people might think u r a serial killer.get cnc cert......make sure they state yer stupidity on it...its up to oz side if they like you.

  dont know how he got to be pr without getting police certs....maybe he is a refugee or something.
