Just a quick reminder to those living in North America (which, unfortunately, includes Canada ) to set your clocks forward by an hour at 1 a.m. this Sunday (March 8, 2009) in observance of Daylight Saving Time.

Be positive and think of the time change as gaining an "additional" hour of daylight in the evening.

I really wonder why we still go through daylight savings???
How many of us still farm, and don't the farmers nowadays have alarm clocks if they really need to get up earlier??? I say we should all go the way of New Mexico!

Yah, resetting all the clocks in the household to account for the time change can be a tiresome affair. I have to reset the time on the following devices:
For the average Joe, DST means more daylight hours in the evenings to engage in outdoor activities. Up here in Minnesota, at the height of summer, the sun doesn't set until about 9:15 p.m., giving ample opportunity to head outdoors after work!
